The Kennington Oval is a well-known international cricket stadium located in Central London within the Borough of Lambeth.

We were commissioned by the Borough as part of a consortium to undertake research with the local community and stakeholders to help shape a vision to make the neighbourhood a healthier and more active place to live, visit and travel through.

This included undertaking walking focus groups, interactive design workshops with local schools, hosting an online survey and drop-in events.

We worked closely with our partners to translate these findings into innovative and responsive proposals that are currently being trialled in situ.

If successful, the intention is to develop more permanent proposals that will be delivered in 2025.
